Lufuno's Story
Growing up in a Christian home made me love God and honour marriage. My grandparents were my favourite example when it came to what a perfect love story looks like. I grew up wanting the same for myself and even more. When I met Bongani, I had been in my waiting season for almost 3 years. He said to me, “The way you smiled at me yesterday, seeing you between the door. That warmed my soul. I want that feeling again, on the day you walk in and find me waiting for you, before God and everyone else”. I knew then that my waiting season was over. I looked outside my bedroom window, and the clouds were heart-shaped.
Bongani's Story
For a long time, love wasn’t kind to me, and I was often the guy who fell too easily. But while on my journey of singlehood and sobriety, everything changed. At the beginning of 2026, I met Lufuno. She represents everything I have ever wanted in a partner. She didn’t just accept me for exactly who I am—she also brought me closer to God.
Our Story Together
Our story is a sweet one. We met at an audition on January 21st, 2026, in Randburg, and it was an instant love-at-first-sight moment. Bongani completely fell for my smile and couldn't help telling everyone in the room that he was going to marry me one day. Needless to say, you are reading this invitation because he kept that promise.

As the music shifts, a soft hush falls over the gathering at Red Ivory. The doors open to frame the moment, and all eyes turn as Lufuno begins her walk down the aisle toward you.

Photos and Cocktail Hour
Immediately following the ceremony, the bridal party will participate in a photo session. Family photos will be captured first, followed by portraits of the bridal party.
